Default Southern Crappie rod 143t vs ... well ... see for yourself ...

Doug called this morning and said he had an extra seat to pull some cranks with he and Mike ...

Of course I jumped on that ...

Crappie didn't really want to cooperate ... but a few green carp and this thing smashed that custom painted Arkie 350 ...

18.5lbs weighed on Doug's turkey scale at the taxidermy shop ...and that Southern Crappie 143T worked it like ... just another day at the office ...

Mike would be "kylakelover", an old friend but new member of the KY Forum. Between Rickie and I, we probably cost Mike a few thousand $$$ to get started pulling cranks with new tackle, electronics, you guys know how it is.

That is fun. I use to fish the contour lines from 15 to 20-25 ft and catch them big suckeres. Troll down the line and bounce your bait up and down off bottom. Man it is fun. How long of a fight was it.
