Night. Black and chartreuse
day. Monkey milk
nuff said on my lake
I know Lure color has been discussed before, but if I had to choose one color of lure,it would absolutely be black.I am assuming it is because of one or two reasons ( in my opinion ) why black works so well.
One,black is darker than anything else, thus it contrast better, two, much of the natural food sources out there tend to be darker than lighter, with a few exceptions.Anyway, that's just my take on it,but I still fish with all the colors that look like candy,I figure if it looks good enough for me to eat,a fish just couldn't resist.
Black and chartreuse in the lakes I fish!!

I can cut it back to a few, but there isn't one magic bullet for me. bl/chart, monkey milk, albino, opening night and I could fish almost anywhere. Those are all BGBS.

Black/chartreuse hands down. Doesn't even matter the brand. Just make it black chartreuse!

Pink & chartreuse works just fine up here.

Black works well with any clarity water. I use a chartreuse head wit black body.
Purple and chartreuse or black and chartreuse anywhere I have caught crappie.
