    I'm looking for a source of 1" black curly tail grubs,and some back curly tail grubs in color combos,thanks

    Have you mentioned this on the DIY plastics section of the jig tying and lure making forum? Lots of guys squirt their own plastics there.

    The problem with mass produced 1" curly tails is the thickness required to pour large quantities. This just doesn't lend itself to great action in the water. Especially at slow speeds. I'm sure some custom pourers here on Crappie.com can help you out.

    I don't know who makes the mold, or sells the grub, but there is some made that have a solid body and a tail that's like a ribbon, the same thickness all the way from the body to the tip. Lots of action.

    That's what I'm looking for.I have some 1" white grubs with that sort of tail,but I've never had much luck with white,plus I have no idea where I ordered them from,the hunt continues.

    Yeah it's weird,I always have some white with me,and even give them a try ( most of the time ).

    I bought a bunch of 1" curly tails at the local Sportsman's Warehouse a couple of years ago. Couldn't tell you if they all stock them or even if mine still has that size, but they did at one time.
