Way to go when the going gets tough.
Got on Lake Lemmon at 8 am and parking lot was full as bass tourney on the lake and little parking left. Lake was totally fogged in till it finally lifted at 9 and started out trolling cranks and never caught a fish in any of my haunts until 9:30 am as I finally found the fish in only one section of the lake in a 300 yd run along the Creek channel in about 10 to 12' of water all but on the bottom. It was slow but fished till 2 pm with the bass fishermen buzzing within 50' of me while long lining cranks and best colors were purple/chartreuse, yellow crawl, and chartreuse/green. Caught about 60 fish total, kept 12 all 10 to 13.5" and everyone was a female loaded with eggs. Water was pure muddy. Black colored cranks would just not work at all, water temp started at 62.5 and ended up at 66.3 in the sun and wind. Very high pressure system and wind later giving a 1 ft. chop to the waves. Speed was 1.6 mph and I will never fish this lake again on a Sat. As the bass guys were a pain in the a#*!
