Nice catch
hit a third location on the mighty Trinity river by work yesterday and found the fish somewhat of a challenge for sure . Took me a bit to get dialed in and played move the float up and down and try about a bunch of different cadences and or lack of to get bit . finally settled on what they seemed to want . did hook up with a reel screamer black bass that was similar to freight train and fought him for a good bit before he spit the jig and managed 2 others that didn't escape photography class 101.
1 or 2 sunfish also played lets take a photo with ketchn and of course quite a few crappie got into the photo shoot as well . tried 2 bait colors and bright chart wasn't what they really wanted even though a few bit it . I changed up to a more natural color combo though and it worked pretty well about 5 foot deep in 8 or so foot of water . the fish were holding on the outside of a fallen tree that settled up under a bridge after the last wind storm here a few weeks ago. I am pretty sure one of the crappie I managed I saw about 4 days before on my jig at a spot not far away as well ....its long story as to how I noticed but to say the least I am about 99.9 % sure she was one I handled before .
hope you enjoy the photos and read and have a great day
Nice catch

Very nice. I'm with Eagle 1, you ever late getting back to work? Or I'm guessing your work time isn't that regimented.
