    Thanks guys; I try!

BTW, I used the first one the other day and there were no crappie where I was yet, but the green carp love it. Also I like the way it held up wet and after. Now it doesn't look like it did with the feathers still flat and all, but it still has a nice twin tail look to it.

Where did you get the idea for that jig? That design looks an awful lot like the spoon that crappieday makes...Da Fly.....LOL....

Actually a few months back ( in October)I had some guinea feathers and some partridge feathers. The Partridge ones had a little feather near the base of each larger feather and I was trying to use them is some way. Looking at the second one for a good deal of time I really liked it and then it hit me about one weeks ago that if I make the center stiff it may be able to make a twin tail using feathers.

Crappieday's spoons never came into this at all. My jigs don't glide and his spoons don't have twin wiggle tails, LOL! If some how you put the two together then that is a figment of your imagination! Both of the pics below can also be found on my web site and have been there since October so this was not an overnight thing. However the last step (making the center of the feather stiff while keeping the rest of the feather soft) was a new idea for me.

Also if you want to really see the real inventors of wings take a look at this web page and I am sure they could ask the question that anything crappieday and I have come up with has long been done by fly tiers.
http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.p...=flysearchform in the very bottom box type in wings!

Here is what I tied back then (October)...

A couple of weeks later I tied this using guinea...

You misunderstood my question. I wasn't meaning that I thought you took the idea from crappieday. I was just wondering if after you seen that spoon that you got the idea from that. I never meant to imply that you stole the idea. If it seemed that way, then I apologize with all my heart. You have some great looking jigs. And I hope you keep making them for years to come.
