    Wife's amazing photography here in Virginia. Peregrine Falcon can reach diving speeds of over 200MPH!

    Yeah, we have them around here in Lexington, Ky ... I see them all the time. Even saw one take a bombing run on a Dove, right above my head, in the parking lot of my apt complex. It did not catch the Dove, but our Pigeon population is waaaay down from what it used to be before the Falcon's were brought here. In fact, they've practically all moved "out of town" ... and out into the suburbs and along the major highway/interstate roads.

    We have them nesting here where I work in our 800ft. chimneys. The wildlife officials come in and band the chicks shortly after they are born. I used to ride up with them. You talk about mean look as they fly by when their chicks are being handled. We regularly find beheaded pigeons on the ground. Pretty cool...
