A chainsaw works great. I've used a machete, too, but the chainsaw's a LOT easier.
I was wondering what tools you guys have found that work the best for cutting down bamboo?

limb saw
Small tooth Japanese hand saw, very fast, not much work, no oil, no gas.
Reaper, Where Fish come to Fry
I use a gas trimmer you can cut alot of boo in about 15 minutes.
Stihl straight shaft weedeater with a ninja blade. You can cut a pick up load in 10 minutes and no bending. I have used Machete, pruners, sickle, chainsaw and probably a few others but the Stihl is by far the quickest
Long handled pruners work great for me.
