    Default SPINCAST REEL

Which one has the highest ratio? My daughter has a Omega with a 3.2-1 and it takes forever to land a fish. Price is not a factor. Its for my daughter.

I think the zebco bullet (just saw it in cabelas catalog) has 5:1 or something in that ballpark.

Wow! I've never spent that much money on any of the dozens of reels I have used over decades of fishing for just about everything that swims. It had better be one heck of a reel! I'd suggest that you may want to teach her how to use a regular bail spinning reel like Pflueger President. Great quality at half the price for the #6920 size, which is perfect for crappie. Had my daughter using open spinning reels when she was 9 years old. Kids are amazingly adept.

I've never spent that much on a reel either. My preferred reels are spinning reels too.

I wouldn't really call her a kid anymore, she is 40 and likes a spincast.
