This weekend CrappieKeeper and I installed his Maximizer, GPS, and built rod tubes to hold the long poles when moving from spot to spot.
The next project will be Driftmaster rod holders for spiderrigging.:)

I installed some rod holders in the same position in my pan fisher a few months ago. I sure wished I had done it years ago. Sure keeps stuff from getting all tangeled up when you are on a long run.

Hey there Slab, I'm not sure what he paid. around 30 bucks probably. It's an Etrex Marine Mount. We are going to have to move it down closer to him as we learned that GPS's with electronic compasses have to be layed almost flat for the electronic compass to work right. No problem though, he is going to put a Driftmaster rod holder in it's place anyway. We love those electronic compasses!! Arrow never leaves the brushpile!;)

Hey DrPepper, These rod tubes are great! when you fish 10 to 12 spots a trip they sure are handy.
I level the boat and trailer first then put in one screw then level the tubes vertically and attach the other screw. His were done a little closer together than mine. We put his 12" apart. Works great!;)
Here's a pic of what we are talking about on these homemade rod tubes. Mine are 1 1/4 inside dia. and are cut at 13 1/2" long.

Hey Tim, Once you leave the trailer you don't have to get out of your seat until you're back on the trailer!:)
