    Default Ego Slider pole options...

So I ordered a small ego net today and plan to use it with a fiberglass paint pole I already have for spider rigging and long lining solo trips. Decided to look into a better "slider" pole for the net. Anyone tried the Shur-line #6572L extendable slider pole before? Looks very similar to the ego slider pole and is only $28 at True Value Hardware! If so, any advantages to the Ego Slider vs shur-line?

Make sure the threads per inch are the same. Not sure a ego net will thread onto normal paint extension handle???

Looks like people have used a standard paint pole with the EGO head before according to a previous post.

Ego net threads would not fit the painter pole I got from lowes. They are different. A drill bit and a bolt took care of that problem for me. Not the same pole u are looking at

Good to know. The net I ordered has the short 12" pole, maybe I can rob the end off of it and adapt to the paint pole!

Not quite as easy as I thought it'd be, but success none the less. Saved about $45.
