Lil' Dynamite Jigs

Anybody ever used these things? They are from TnT Lure and Tackle. I saw an add for them in Crappie World and thought they look good, so I ordered the 4 color pack and an assortment of their great looking jig heads. Haven't had a chance to get out and try them yet with the ice and high water here at my home lake. Just wondering if anyone has used them and if so how.

Wow those are cool jigs. They would be great in weedy lakes. I really like the bodies. They look like they would really waggle at any speed. I'm gonna get some. So many good new lures this year. I may have to quit working, so I can test them all. :D

They're nice looking jigs, but they're just copies of Charlie Brewer's crappie slider.

Finally used the lil dynamites at Weiss this past Wednesday-Saturday. First cast of the trip caught a 1.5-2 pound slab on the chartreuse on a 1/16 oz. head. I like the action a lot. Only downfall I found is that the heads have no barb, and a short strike pulls the body into a ball at the bend of the hook unless you glue them on, which becomes a pain when you are on the fish and need to replace a torn body quickly. I changed to another body in a similar color and size on a barbed head for this reason and the fact my old man was outfishing me with a twistertail. I think the dynamites would work great when the crappie are a little less agressive and you need to slow down, since the tail wobbles at the slightest movement. They'd be great for flipping in around tight cover where casting is all but impossible.

I have used them forever. Very similar. Too early to say how they compare.
