I like solar bats, work good and good price.
I've been reading that there are specialized sunglasses that let you see whats below that water better than regular polarized glasses. What kind/brand do you use and reccomend? I always fish in a canoe so I can't put in a fishfinder and I want to be able to see fallen structure.
Thanks guys

I fished out of a canoe for 5 years and used a portable fish finder. The transducer was on a suction cup that I stuck on my canoe. Here's a link to a bunch of portable units.

Usually the Strike King ones in Walmart or whatevers the cheapest:D . I'm either going to break em or lose em in a month or two anyway.
Any glasses that let you see below the surface use polarization filtering. The polarizing filter cuts the surface glare that "blinds" your eyes preventing you from looking further. The other factor is lens color. Brown / Amber gives your better contrast. Blue is supposed to be good for shallow salt water. Gray is supposed to be better for deep water. I use brown/amber and like them.
For those of you wanting prescription fishing glasses, you can get them at Wally World for about $200 in brown wrap around lenses and polarized. They even come with a decent case and a strap.

I finally broke down and bought some Costa del Mar. The best investment I could have made. I use to get the cheap ones. Did not think it made a difference. Now with the ones I got my eyes don't get as tired on the water. I had polarized one in the cheap ones. But the Costa pick up stuff the old ones never did. I have tried both pairs looking at objects under water and it is amaving the difference in qualitiy. Kind of like the feel of rods in ones hands. I guess it is up to the person holding them if it is worth it.
If in doubt, cross their eyes!!

I just might have to invest in one of those. I never dreamt of having a fish finder in my canoe. Thats awsome!
I love my Oakley Five 3.0 Polarized. Cost a bit but the way I figure I am outside every day and unless its dark or so cloudy that its almost dark, I need sunglasses. My eyes are very light sensitive.
Ya ain't holdin' your mouth right.
