    Default Slider majic at Stockton

Caleb and I put in at Cedar Ridge after work headed toward High Point, stopped to try a rocky bank out of the wind bam an 11 incher then another.... ended up with 26 crappie and 2 white bass used gold and chartreuse and cotton candy sliders. Cast to the bank and reel slowly back to the boat.

Nice catch...I remember when sliders first came out..I bought the slider heads and all and was using them to fish weedless in timber. Didn't occur to me for a good while to just cast the things on a regular head or roadrunner. Some days Sliders are pure poison. In the summer and fall the smoke glitter matches the shad fry real good and sometimes out fishes the bright (clown colors I call em) for me at times... .

That's how you do it! Those are very nice crappie and a couple of big whites, bet they put up a battle on light tackle!

Cotton candy is a great color in clear water like Stickton. Were you using the crappie size or the 3 inch?
