    Default O2 Tabs for Minnows

Dose anyone use the oxygen tablets like the Sure-Life Bait Buddies to keep there minnows alive? Do they work? Academy Sports has them for $2.99 for a 2-pack, but then I found them online 200 qty. bag for $15.00. There is a link below, I have never used them but wondering if they work? If these two products are the same the bait buddies are $1.50 each compared to the others at less than eight cents each .075 ea.

Heck, we use to use "O-tabs" back in the 50's when we use to carry a minnow bucket on our bike's handle bars and travel up to the reservoir. Can't recall just how "well" they worked, but we always tossed one in before starting out. Haven't heard about them in decades, but the concept is certainly viable in my opinion. Just like "Hot Hands" for cold fingers (which really do work!). I'm sure the technology these days has vastly improved this kind of product. But I wouldn't buy them in bulk until I tried a smaller quantity several trips. Then make up your own mind.
