Exclamation Ice Cubes for Casting Weights???

This is one of the best ideas I've heard of in years, I don't know who thought of it but it's brilliant!!! Who all has or does use ice cubes for casting weights to get your baited hook far out there to melt and free fall fish? How do you do it exactly? Wrap your line around an ice cube and sorta melt it into it so it will hold on for the cast? Inquiring minds want to know... Thanks!
PS: Also saw in the bluegill forum that you could add some chum O' choice into the ice cube to enhance yo cast... Where it's legal of course.:D
    I have a jig with a face like this!

lay your line over the cube and sprinkle with a little salt , it'll melt the ice and refreeze within the cube. It's a little bar trick i used to use to win free sudz!
