Default What are your fishing goals this year?

Last year proved quite a challenge at work with a few major incidents that resulted in lots of stress and little fishing. So this year I made a list of goals to accomplish:

    • Sell the boat = complete
    • Catch a >2lb crappie = pending
    • Catch my first crappie via spider rig = pending
    • Catch my first crappie jigging the pads = pending
    • Fish 5 new lakes = pending
    • Beat my PB bass of 9.4lbs = pending
    • Fish a CPR bass tournament = pending
    • Make at least one saltwater trip in the kayak = pending

Figured the best way to start any goal is to get organized so I built my own little tackle shop. My 11 year old girl helped me build and decorate it!

    1) get comftrable with my new boat.
    2) catch enough fish for a meal at least one time this year.
    3) catch a big enough crappie for the wall (a.k.a. New personal best)
    4) catch my first crappie trolling
    5) fish a new body of water whenever I get the chance
    6) take somebody new fishing

Tundah did you build that work bench from a set of plans? That is very nice. Good luck reaching your goals this year.

Thank you, yep I found some DIY plans online. 15 2x4s, a sheet a 1/2" ply, and pegboard. Was a fun little project.
