    Default Painting cranks?

I am considering getting into painting crank baits. Can anyone recommend a good tried and true unpainted crank bait. I would prefer to be able to purchase from a crappie.com sponsor however if there isn't one I'll get them wherever I can. Thanks

Talk to "mrdux" from the KY state forum .... he buys blanks and paints his own cranks. He buys from wlure.com and gets the UPC255 & UPC549 blanks, I believe. I also believe I read where he doesn't care much for their hooks, though.

What CP said - but if you buy the unpainted blanks they do not come with hooks or split rings. The numbers the CP gave are for the unpainted blanks.

    Link to the site:https://www.wlure.com/

Blanks are at the bottom of the first page.

I have crappie on both of these. Better color results are achieved when painted white before applying other colors. I get them from AliExpress.com for about 60 cents each when purchased 20 at a time. I usually go with suppliers that offer free shipping. The down side is 5 weeks to deliver. If you want I will post a pick of painted ones also.

Crappie wrangler what size or number are they? Do you know how deep they run like in comparison to the Bandit 200 & 300 series. I would love to see some painted ones. Thanks

C-55's from wlure, wiggle warts from predator bass baits, and bandit 200 blanks from dinger custom baits. All three are good ones to order to paint

That's a lot nicer paint job than mine. Those look down right good. Mine are just hand painted with a hobby paint kit. I only use them early in the season when I can cast and retrieve. I'm not much into trolling. I gotta say again RK1's look really good. I don't have any artistic talent. You asked about depth, I think anywhere you purchase there will be a variety of depths available.

4 are from China 1 is store bought. I will try to get some links

Go to AliExpress.com. Do a search for unpainted crank baits then search for what fancies you. One example below. These are 25 for $10.32
