    fishing is the number ONE way to get struck by lightning ! the numbers are way up on this in the last year or so .
    so please keep in mind it can strike up to 10 miles from the storm ,so its safe to say if you hear thunder its best to get going and get off the water ! its pretty easy when its ON to stay for one more cast ,I know this for sure !but rather than become a statistic maybe just go to safe spot and wait it out or go home and come back another day..
    the fish will still be around and so will you if you head this advice ....
