Nice fish. I love the approaching front bite, it can be frantic.

Many years ago, about 55 of them, my dad, who was not a fisherman per se was out fishing before a storm.
Back in those days people didn't worry about lightning as we do (and should) now so dad stayed out there and fished. He had one rod and one bait, a big old yellow crappie killer.
He slayed them that day, keeping none but having a blast. He said every pitch was a catch and after the storm blew over it stopped as fast as it started.
We fished those killers for years to come but ever had luck like that.
    Miss that man, a lot.

I bet u was doing some paddling. I had lightning hit a round ball of hay about 10 ft from me during a storm. Since then a crow can fly across the sun and I'm running for cover. I don't like storms now.
