    Default Slip float hack

I have been having trouble threading slip floats with small, limp line. It does not go all the way through before it hangs up. Here's how I solved it. Large sewing needles for sewing dolls. Just thread line thru the needle eye. Insert in top of float. Pull it out bottom and take needle off. If the float is longer than the needle, just let go and let it drop down and out the bottom. Done without all that fumbling around for 5 minutes.

I have low vision and I use knitting needles for the same thing and I also run the line through the rod eyes with it.

Biggest crappie to date is 3 lb 9 oz at grenada in 1988. Still hangs on my wall.

I like that idea as well. Sometimes I have a hard time going through the rod guides also.

Often I'll start the line in and give a short quick suck to the other end of the hole.
