    Default Morning Haul

My buddy and I were on the water at 2:00 AM this morning. We were hitting pier lights. 18 Keepers some stripes and spots mixed in for a grand total of 30 fish.

That is my partners boat. That thing is a "panfish" boat on steroids! It rides and fishes great!

All a light needs is a structure nearby. Doesn't have to be a dock. Tree's, seawall, marker post, ledge. All a man can do is to try them under different conditions and mark the good ones. Like docks, have 20 in a row and MAYBE 3 will be any good. Time on the water, once again.

What skeetbum said. 1/16 oz. jig, throw it out there, start counting, and retrieve it slower than slow. I usually start at the count of 5 for three or four cast. If nothing, go to 10; if nothing go to 15 and so on. This morning the number was 10-15.
