    Default depth finder and speed


    i have a hummingbird depth finder when im running just abouve idle
    it work just fine but when i pick up speed the depth goes away.
    when i go back down to idle it comes back on.
    i have moved an positioned the transducer about 10 times still no luck.
    i called hummingbird and they said the transducer cable maybe to close to the battery so i moved the battery still no luck.

    First make sure the transducer is still in the water as speed increases. Also check to make sure it points relatively straight down or a little to the front. If that is not the problem then increase the sensitivity. If that doesn't work you might go on the Bass Boat Central web site. They have an electronics forum that can answer just about anything.
