Default My Son joined the 2 lb club this weekend

Went to Cumberland Lake, KY over the weekend with my middle one and one of his friends hoping for some decent action. We really struggled with just 5 crappie on the day but the first one was a beast. Largest I've ever pulled over the gunwale of my boat. It was 16" and was 2.05 lb according to my digital scale. Here are a couple of pics. The one with it was a nice 12.5" fish for reference.

    Nice,
It is a struggle to find crappie on Cumberland due to the massive amount of cover, but there are definitely some big ones.
I have the same struggle, hard to find more than 5-6 keepers

We ended up releasing her and her 2 buddies in our pond. Had a big fish kill in it last year and going to put some crappie in there anyway. Maybe get some with some good genes with this one.
