    Default New Idea...Wing Jig

OK I need your input as to if you like my idea and if you think it will work like I intend it.

I tied the jig different so the feather would be in the shape of a wing and I also coated the center of the feather so it will keep away from collapsing on it self. I am hoping it will act like twin tails made from feathers. I can make them in other colors also.

Anyway what do you good people think?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Great idea you have there.

Again you never cease to amaze me with your great looking jigs. Not only do they look great but I bet they will be catching a plenty of those slabs.

If they are in the mood for a slow falling bait w/ a larger profile I think it should work well.

Great job on this as I may try to copy it and add a small amount of crystal flash coming out the back. All I can say is outstanding as you have the art!!!

Nice looking jigs Skip. I don't know if I showed you the pic of some of the hair jigs that we use. (no I didn't tie them) But it is a good pic of some hair jigs with "wings". And for others that tie, maybe yall can get some ideals off of them too.

    They are guinea feathers.

Thanks guys I appreciate you opinions!

jlaughlin72, those are much like the fly tiers use and I like that as well, but I am going for a double tail that may have a great little wiggle. I have it where it will be stiff for a very short distance coming off the middle of the feather and hope that will hold the 2 wings apart even when wet.
