    Default Crappie Jig Kit?

Does anyone offer a jig kit, providing an assortment of jigs and plastics for someone that has only used minnows in the past. I am wanting to try jigs, but don't know where to start.

In my opinion, kits look nice, but a lot of the colors/styles go unused.

That's been my experience too. Don't be sucked into the "kit" game. You don't need anything fancy either. Get yourself a few packages of tube jigs or Bobby Garland shad type baits in a few proven colors like black/chartreuse, red/white, monkey milk, red/chartreuse (my fav. colors in OK, not sure what is popular in KY waters), some 1/16 oz ball jig heads and give it a whirl. If you know where the fish are, and they are active, one of these colors will work. As ship mentioned, there are also several members over on the jig tying/lure making page that sell some good hand made stuff.
