    Default Stockton 3/20

Weather geek said 7-10 MPH wind, 84° high, sunny. We put my boat in at Rouark Bluff, AKA Twin Bridges, the lake was rolling, whitecaps. My estimate 20 MPH + wind. Ran up in Sons Creek looking for walleye or crappie. 3 small bass and one NICE crappie, 13". Ran up to CC bridge, lot more boats there. Talked with a couple guys rigging just past CC bridge, they were catching a few, nothing exciting. Warmest water temp I saw was 57.35°. Lowest was 53.78°. Things oughta be happening. Not on the bank yet though. I really wanted to throw a jig and frog and see if the bass are in business yet, but didn't.
Played with the two new Garmin locators, outstanding! EchoMap 73sv and a Striker 7dv.
Oh.... and a stop at Red's for a double cheeseburger. No pic though. Didn't happen? Ask my belly. Burp.
I'll smoke just about anything (in my smoker)
The fishing is always great. The catching varies.

At least you got your new boat out for a run and got the fish finders fired up Mike. You think with the wind those walleye would be ready to go. Thanks for the report.

It did fine. Not as dry as my Champion was, and not as heavy, so it slaps the waves. Need to tighten the compartment lid latches to stop some of the banging.
