Nice!
I finally got a chance to go and put in some brush piles, most of the folks I know have already gotten there new piles in or there old ones replenished several weeks back mainly during the colder Winter months, but these did go in two days before the official day of Spring so technically it was still winter even though it was like 82 degrees.
This was a lot harder work than I remembered it being in the past, the morning started with loading up with concrete blocks which weighed 32 lbs. each, thought it would be useful to know so I set one on the scales. Then we broke out the chain saw and went to work on trimming a few peach trees and removing some apple trees that were to close to a fence line. Since most of the brush/small trees ended up being much larger after they were cut than before, most were 14' to 16' we decided to focus on deeper water structure in the 20+ range.
Below are a few pictures form the events of the day!
Apple Wood waiting to be loaded on the boat!
Hauling another pile!
These blocks are 8"x12"x16" larger then your standard cinder block!
Over the side!
Have never used peach, so will be interesting to see how the crappie respond to it!
and there it goes!
I'm quite proud of this shot, it is the first picture from my Helix 10 SI/GPS.

Good job, and regardless of what you use, if it's in the right place you'll get some fish out of them. You know you're cheating using a pontoon, right?
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Man that will be me as soon as I can get my pontoon on the water and prayers for my number to come up for a Slip! nice work and fruit trees should do just fine and last a while.
Barry that can be us when I get my pontoon on the water at LSL. Or up at Twain or T hill! Or in your boat.
Looks like a summertime honey hole in the makings. I will be looking forward to your reports and pictures.

Looking really good! So you used a pontoon boat instead of a canoe eh? LOL!
