    Never used them, look like Gene said great for setting up droppers. My problem with them is it looks like when you crimp them together tight enough to hold it would pinch mono creating a weak spot if you took it apart and moved it up or down the line.

    I'm wondering if it would go through eyes. Not sure what I would use it for. I had never seen them until last night

    I use to use those back in the 60's for droppers when catfishing. They definitely will NOT go through rod guides. They are meant to replace tying a loop above the main sinker. They do work great for that purpose.

    Used them as long as they have been available (50+ yrs) . Best to use with a heavier short dropper line (6"). If you are using 8lb line, use 12lb for the dropper, it will make the dropper line & bait stay away from the mainline. Much better than double hooks on mainline. Less tangles. Give them a try
