I just stick my foot through the loop and draw it snug around my ankle.

Yes. Truly sad. Mine is permanently connected (and used) to my PFD that I wear all the time. Please use your kill switch and wear your pfd.

Thank you for once again reminding us all that your PFD (Life Jacket) and your kill switch is what keeps you from getting killed in a boating accident on the water. So sad for the family to lose a loved one that way. Our prayers are with them.

Amen to kill switches...wouldn't go on the water without one. And if I go in someone else's boat, they'll be wearing one too or I don't go.

It is sad for sure , a lot of my buds were running that creek . We all knew where that was on the creek when we saw the boat up on the bank on the news . A stretch of shallow fast water and an obvious lack of knowledge of the area and boating safety were involved . So sad and yet so grateful the little one survived , the man upstairs looks after little ones for sure .
When the fish get shallow a lot of folks with little to no experience get out and about looking for a fish dinner and some fun . I would strongly encourage all to help others with a kind word on safety to anyone who looks to be less than informed this time of year .
