    Default Trolling Plates

I pull cranks at 2.3 to 2.5 and would like to slow down to at least to 1.8 using the big motor.
I need help in selecting a trolling plate for 50 hp Mercury 4 stroke on a pontoon.

    Thanks in advance.

I have a happy troller trolling plate on my boat works great. I had a plastic one once before but after 3 years it split so I replaced it with the happy troller no issues in 8 years.

I have a troll a matic, been using it 6-7yrs and really like it.The main reason I like it its automatic, not cables to pull.Have heard of people having the ones that are not automatic leaving them down and taking off and warping the trolling plate.I will say this though,I lost a couple mph top speed after installing mine.
