It Won't Be Long Now!

Temps are rollercoasting around here, but the trend is upward. Still some ice on the ponds, but I suspect that in another week - or two at the most - we'll be launching somewhere!

All my reels and cleaned and lubed. Rods are all cleaned and ArmorAll'd. I only use braid, so last season's line will do just fine.

Now comes the hard part! Gotta strip down all the tackle bags and rearrange everything so that I have somewhat of a chance to find what I'm looking for! Of course, that only lasts a trip or two. Then I still won't be able to find those darn blue/chartreuse Sliders! Where did I put them!?

Gotta say, I envie you folks down south with year round open water.

It's a blessing here in bama to fish year round. Sometimes in shorts in January! It would be cool to fish thru the ice at least once though

Yes. Southern "Winters" are awesome. We've had daffodils blooming since mid-February. Fishing is always an option.
