    taking a trip to Kansas for a few days this spring, need info where the best places for crappies in the spring. looking at 200 acre to 1,000 acre lakes

    I've heard good things about Milford but it's a lot bigger than 1000 acres.

    Milford always produced Crappie for me on hot summer days drifting the dam in a float-tube. I referred Milford because it was cleaner than my spring haunts.

    I have not fished in Kansas in years but I always did pretty well at Clinton and Pomona. Small lakes I never bothered with.
