    Default Fast snaps?

Anyone use fast snaps? Just curious if they are worth a hoot. I like the idea of quickly changing lures and the jig being able to hang freely. Looking for some insight.

I also use the mustad clips, the smallest one..think 0 or 1. They are very strong...only tore one up...with 20 lb braid

Do you attach directly to the jig or to a leader on the jig or other bait? I like the ease also but have been unsure how to best use.

For many years I've used the "Snap Hooks" available from Netcraft. The size #2 (medium) works best for me.

Mustad Snap Hooks. Easily change flies without tying

There are many manufacturers of these type of quick change devices. Some have much thicker construction, which I do not like. Have tried them all. This one works the best, in my opinion.

Have some interest in this also. Watched the Arkansas Fisher guy on YT using the Mustad KVD Fastach black size 0. Heard they were available at W-M, but not ours evidently. The fly snap hook thing would also be a good option Two reasons for looking at this; first I like to insert the jig in the tube. They hold up many times longer like that and this would help in changing out. Second, last two years I have lost several jigs and fish because the line slipped thru a gap in my 1/32 oz head. 4lb line, not all jigs have this gap but I ran into a batch that do.

I can understand the desire for these using a crankbait, but I can tie a double surgeons loop on a jighead in about 15 seconds and dont see the need on a jighead. But each their own.
