Default they are NOT spawning .....just YET

I went west today an hour from the house early , I asked the wife if we wanted any fish to eat tonight .
    She said .... sure maybe 5 or 6 ?
I said ....ok baby done deal ....will bring a 6 pack home for dinner
she said ....what if they are not biting ...?
    I said ...sweety really ????
so I killed the first 6 and let the rest go back to doing what I think they might be thinking about doing
today the water temp was 55 according to the boat angler there ...
I was stuck in the jungle on he bank
got there at 7 left at 9 ....2 hour drive for a 2 hour ketch ...off to the doctor with the kiddo and lunch and work I went
not much to say other than the bite was kinda finicky and they were not really shallow
and they be whats for dinner .....
started with a bright colored handtie and finished off the trip with a silver and pearl plastic
fixed float about 6 to 7 foot deep in water 8 to 12 foot deep ...
stay tuned and hope you enjoyed the read

those fish were staged up about 25 feet from where they spawn and according to the graph on the guys boat he said there was a ridiculous number of them all over the submerged timber me and my bud drug over to that area a few years ago with my boat .I was blind casting the area myself knowing that they were there and just trying to see how close they were to getting after it .
glad yawl enjoyed the read and photos
