    I will start fishing for Gills....Smallies.....shellcracker in March. I will get some crappie during those times but April and May I will mostly be at Dale Hollow Lake catching 20-80 smallmouth a day...most 16-20 inches with many 21 inches....and all the Gills I want also. Come summer I will hit the Caney Fork river for trout. Just a ton of fun on 2# test line.

    I do fish for other species some but more often I fire up the forge and stuff like this.

    If I was close to good smalley population it would be my choice. I used to fish for them in the rivers in PA when I lived there. Here in Mo I fish for cats more than I anything.
