Default Muddy water and a foot higher

you might just ask what should you do ...?? the local crowd is all saying they aint biting and its to much weather changes and the water is to high and the water is to muddy and the list goes on .
Well let me say this about that .....bla bla bla .....
I hit the creek an hour and yes it was somewhat muddy and running kinda fast about a foot higher than normal ...
I used a bright orange feather jig for the most part till I lost it to a snag ....then a silver bait after that ....
I ran my bait the same distance I always do there under a float and moved my presentation much closer to the shore .....rather than where I normally pitch , less current and only pitched up stream and jigged it down stream ...
AND it was totally a smoke fest ....got bit dang near every toss for a lil over an hour ,
the game wardens checking folks said WOW they must be running ....I said yep they sure have been for me .....
ever since early November here at this spot .....
