Default Good day on the river

We had a double limit today on the Ohio river. Quit fishing at 1:30. Shallow and hungry

Good looking box of crappie, I've been trying to hit the river all winter. Haven't been able to get close since early December with the water levels.

Me too. The high water sucked this winter. I try to hit it regularly in the colder months

I'm new to Indiana and having lived in western Colorado for the last 27 years I need help finding and catching Crappie. Any help with more specific locations like "the Ohio river" It's long. Not asking for honey holes just a little help. Thanks in advance.

Most creeks and some bays have good populations. Fish like you would in spring with jigs. Fish are shallow all year. Just keep at
it till you find them. When you do, you'll have it to yourself. Quality is really good too.
