Default Clyde Ressurected......A walk down memory lane ...pics

I finally converted some old wmv files to MP4 so I could put the videos on Photobucket for you newer viewers and members to consume. This is a remote control boat and a robot fisherman named Clyde. This was a first (design to target a specific fish). Genesis wanted money... Nope.

The boat was built at the Tn Tech where I taught math/electronics. It took about 18 months to build this robot. The class spent a lot of time at the lake (of course). What a fun project. It is amazing what these youngsters can learn if you get their attention.

Click on bottom two links for videos.

Clyde checks the water out. Too much boat traffic.

    Later afternoon Clyde does it!

I've told a lot of folks about Clyde. Glad to see him resurrected, I bet it was fun watching him come along.
