    Default Dragging chains questions

How easy are chains to use and how much do you guys get hung up. I have a few drift socks(I don't like using them) but a lot of the places I fish are loaded with stumps. I would love to hear from someone that uses them and explain exactly how you do. I have a x19 express with a 200 so I'd be interested in how big of a chain you guys think I would need.
    Thanks

I have used two chains one off each side and they are on 50 feet of rope each. I just let out as much rope as it takes to slow me down to the right speed. The one thing is you might crab a little as one chain releases before the other. I have used chains with both a 20 ft seaArk and a 240 SeaArk. I havn't had any trouble getting hung up. Good luck.

Chains cause a lot of problems, in my view. Dragging thur stake beds & pine tops and tearing up bottom structure. I will hush now.
