    Default Opion

I need some help on two fishfinders, asking which one is the better unit, yall
will probily think I've lost my mind comparing these two units, but anyway.
    The lowrance X135 noncolor,or the Humminbird 585c.
I always heard that the X135 is a very powerful unit, but on the other hand
the H'bird 585c has power to but not near as much as the x135.
I think both are fairly close in price, but I don't want the 585c just because it's color, I want the best overall unit, I can live with out the color.
    Yall's opions please.
p.s. what if I was color blind, which would be best?

I can give my opinion on the x135. I just bought one a few months ago and I love it. I have always had those entry level sonars, this thing is so much more detaled. I have only got to play with it 3 or four times on the water so far,but what I have seen. I like it

I too have a x135 and it is super. I can see a 1/16 jig with it. I would highly recomend it.

Power is probably the least important feature on crappie and bass fishing lakes. Pixel count is first priority. More power can give slightly better target resolution, but if you don't have the screen to see it, it doesn't matter.

Spider Rig Man, I have a Lowrance 102c and love it .It runs about 100 dollars more than the x135 but I love the color and you can see it from anywhere in the boat and the sun does not block it out. Just my 2cents DW

I think it all depends on what you want. However, if it were me, I would run power over the color.
