JR Tucker - Owner of JR's Marina on Weiss Lake has died.

I hate to bring bad news again, for all crappie anglers; but our friend and long time crappie angler has died after a pro-longed illness. Jerry (JR) Tucker, Owner of JR's Marina in Cedar Bluff, Alabama - passed away Saturday evening.. Funeral services are being planned for Tuesday and/or Wednesday of this week. JR Tucker did a lot to advance crappie fishing and conservation on Weiss Lake, he will be missed by of us all that knew him. Your prayers for his family are requested to help them deal with this loss.

Weiss Lake will not be the same without him, but hopefully the family tradition of running one of the best places on the lake, will continue.
