First week in April should be good, March is going to be slammed this year looks like.
Planning on going to Grenada again this year.Last year there was a big tournament going on so this time I'd like to go when there wasn't a tournament going on.I'm wanting to go around the last of March first of April if there's not a tournament going on.Anyone have an idea when would be the best time to go

Always a tournament of some sort that time of year.

The big four seem to be busy that time of year.
Unless you hit things perfect summer and fall fishing is a lot more fun to me, way less hassle.

+1 on what Rees,said..I hate to fish any of the Big 4 in the spring..But you have to be out there to catch anything
crappie masters is last week of march and they are booked to the gilles the last two weeks of march and 1st week of april
Best time= any available time!
Grenada is such a finicky gal, but each visit I make I learn something new that I can apply the next time. I will catch her at the right time one visit, and will a victorious time.
Listen to these guys, but take the best time for you and let the chips lay. Less stress that way!

x2 What Reese said. I almost refuse to fish Grenada during the spawn because of the crowds (I said almost). I love fishing Grenada late spring on, though. Much more fun. I hate fighting for places at the ramp more than crowds on the lake.
