    Default Cayman Trolling Motors?

Do any of you guys know about Cayman trolling motors? I noticed they have a remote control model that is reasonably priced but not sure of the quality. I've never used one or even seen one that I can remember. Any info. would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Richard

Save your dime, I bought one to get me through a couple months before I got my terrova. And it made it about a month, zero customer service. I was completely ignored. Paddle before you waste hard earned money on one of these.

Thats about like a water snake trolling motor. Dont waste your money! Get up with Brian and BBG marine! He can fix you up and try and help you find something affordable.

Sad to hear that I thought they might be a good option for folks on a budget. I thought they had a 2 yr warranty? Is that not true? Were you able to finally get in touch with them. I know they are made in China but what isn't. Did you purchase yours on Ebay?

I have had one for about 3 years and have had no issues. I have a 12V 55 lb thrust with the remote.

I'm going on my 2nd year with my cayman 55#. No issues so far. I spider rig sometimes from daylight till dark so I have put abunch of time on mine. Only thing is carry extra remote battery's they will go out without warning. But have only replaced them 3 times in 2 years

Speck Detector on Florida board runs the Haswing and seems to really like his. I was contemplating buying one myself, ended up with a Motor Guide as they did not offer a 24v with anchor lock or I would have bought one. Shoot a pm to Speck Detector and I am sure he would answer any questions you may have
