Drill them out and put helicoils in them to make them work with the driftmasters
Does or can anyone make a rod rack to fit these size bases?
The Hoover's II came on my boat. The previous owner had used them and there are three bases on each side and I was wondering if anyone made a transport rack that would fit these. I'm not sure of the size it just hit me to see if I could find a rack that will utilize these plates. A friend has Driftmasters but they are to small.
My boat is a Sea Ark Stealth. I have Spyderlok's on front and back so there is no need for the Hoover II's. You can see the plates on the front, middle and back.

I would like to keep them as is so I could use the Hoover II rod holders when I take the kids fishing. This way I could take the Spyderlok's off for more room.
Driftmasters come in the pro size (larger diameter) as well, try those.

Vertical rod rack can be adjusted from 14'' tall to 18'' tall
we have 4'' of adjustment on each unit to help set up on different deck heights from front deck to back deck.

Hoover rod holders were made in South Carolina. Generally, they were 1/2 inch threads. I have some "custom" made driftmaster in 1/2 inch stainless steel. These are double stack for 16 poles. They are not on my web site; however, I could send some picture if interested.

So 1/2" holders are what I need for these bases?
