You may want to go to BBC Boards amd ask that question. I know a lot of the bass guys have that same trolling motor and use it a lot. They may be more helpful.
I recently got a new boat and decided to go with the ultrex. My old boat had a 80lb terrova on it and it seemed to be very quiet. I went with the 112 36v ultrex and it is very loud. It almost sounds like some sort of grinding and has a click to it. So bad you can feel it at the back of the boat. I took the prop off and put it back on and it seemed to help. It's still very loud though. My question is to anyone that has this same tm is yours louder than normal? It is on a quick release bracket and I'm going to make sure everything is tight in it today. Seems like the noise/vibration is coming from the head though. Thanks any advise is appreciated.

Fishing is like pizza.......Even when it's not that good, it's still pretty good!

Turns out being a first year product minn Kota doesn't fix the problem they replace it. I contacted them today about the issue within a few minutes I received a shipping label via email. I was told as soon as the have a tracking number on mine they will ship a replacement. So I just wanted to give a thumbs up for great customer service. Thanks for the replies.
