    Default Jig colors

It seems the general consensus is 1/32 ounce jigs.

    What are the favorite colors?

    Default Jig colors

I've always done well with white or chartreuse.

Do colors attract fisherman or the fish?

Any other favorite colors out there?

    Wink Sometimes it depends ....

    on the lake I'm fishing.

I've had very good results on plain white, plain chartreuse, plain pink, and a whole host of other colors with chartreuse tails. The lakes I fish are mostly stained to somewhat murky, ranging in "color" from green to a brownish tint. Visibility (water clarity), on the waters I fish most, is generally less than 1ft (a chartreuse jig will disappear from sight, before dropping >1ft deep).

    I don't go with the "consensus", though ... favoring a 1/16oz jighead, for most applications/methods I use. ........ cp

I am partial to combinations of yellow, chartreuse, or pink. I too love the pink head, black/pink beavertail, though. But if I was starving and was forced to pick one jig and color to catch crappie to eat, I'd take a 1/32 oz. chart/green head with a 2" yellow Riverside twistertail grub. It doesn't always catch the bigger fish, but it's never let me down on a day when nothing else works.
