    Default Off Set Pedistal

Any one have any experience with an off set pedistal ? I see BPS has one available in the pin style and am looking to give myself some more room.

I bought the bent pedestal pole and wasn't pleased in my boat (1546 Xpress DB). I was trying to put it on the most forward deck, which is only a foot so long. I couldn't get the seat to level, so I took it back. I might try the other kind, which is an insert that moves the pedestal mounting hole about 6".

I've got a couple of them I got to use up front, to get a little more
room between double seats for spider-rigging, lids in the way or I would
have put the bases further apart
But like up2early, I have noticed they are not bent exactly right -
the seats lean one direction. Not too noticeable if you are using it offset
to the front or back, but sideways like I am, it is real noticeable!
I'm gonna try bending them a little more in the hydraulic shop press,
if they don't jump out, hit me in the head, and put an end to me, I'll
let you know how it works :D

OK, gotter done and still in one piece. Ended up just sticking them into
a piece of 2" square tubing I tacked down to the welding table, then
used another piece of tube about 4' long for a "handle". I was able to
bend them pretty easy like that, a lot easier than a normal straight
pedestal would have bent, I am thinking. Sticking them into a reciever
hitch opening on a truck and then putting a cheater on them would
    work too :D

I rodered two so we'll see. I have the pin lock so not sure if I can get the insert to move the set up back. I appreciate the insight and can see where the seats may tilt.

    Again Thanks!!!
