I just got a text on my phone from Rickie (rnvinc) that said "Holy @#$%!!" He had just received his award for "Man of the Year".

Let me be the 1st to congratulate him for a very well deserved honor. He has some huge shoes to fill to join the long line of great past winners.

Rickie happens to be my 1st cousin and a great friend. I can't think of anybody who is more helpful to others who have questions in the Electronics Forum and general forums. His expertise on not only Humminbird but also most other brands of marine electronics is sought not only here on Crappie.com but also several other fishing forums. I can only envy the knowledge he has stored up.

I can't think of anybody more deserving. You done good, Cuz!

Although my timing with everything this year has been off (it's been a busy year moving mom to Florida) it is with great honor and pleasure that I announce the winner of the 2016 Crappie.com JMMA Award. It's never an easy decision because we have such a fantastic group of members but again for 2016 the decision was unanimous.

The winner rnvinc (aka Rickie) is well deserving of the award demonstrating all the necessary JMMA award criteria. We received many, many examples providing details of his trustworthiness and respect, his willingness to help others, and all his continued contributions to the site and others. Let me just say Thank You to all ... for putting up with my OCD (and encyclopedia electronics posts) ...
