Default Sickle Hook Size for 3" Slab Slayers and 2.5" Slab Busters

For those of you that like to throw the 2.5-3" baits, what size sickle hook do you prefer? I'm ordering 100 1/16oz heads and I'm trying to decide if I should go with #4 or a #2 size sickle hook.

I like 1/8 oz with #1. I think is great size for slab slayers

1/0 and 2/0 for all my jig heads that are used for 3" Slab Slayer and 3 1/2" Mike's custom baits. Jack's baits are a little smaller diameter so could probably get away with a smaller hook in them. But the Garland Slab Slayer has a much bigger diameter and the bigger hook adds the gap needed for a better hook up ratio.

Wouldn't consider using less than #1 and for my own use, whether 1/8 or 1/4 oz I almost always pour 1/0.

    Correction
I use #1 for 1/8 oz tub jig heads with 2 1/2 inch tubes. I use 1/0 for 3 inch Slab Slayers. Had to go look to see.

    #1 in 1/16 and 1/0-2/0 in 1/8 for everything.

Normally I use Cherry bombs, but when it gets tough I go to 1/4 stick dynamite.....
